Job Description Details:
Consults with members regarding their exercise program through the administration of
a variety of assessment findings.
Prepares individual exercise prescriptions based on test results.
Presents and participates frequently in classes for the Wellness Center members.
Monitors all aspects of fitness program to assure that quality and the level of
resources necessary to fulfill the fitness requirements of members is maintained.
Required: Minimum Bachelors Degree or higher in exercise science or related field. A
minimum of 1 year experience with a high volume health and fitness facility and current
Preferred: Advanced education through college, ACE, AFAA, or ACSM in exercise prescription
and /or fitness testing and implementation preferred. Cardiac rehabilitation experience
