Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit Catholic hospital, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Trinity Health.
Assist in operations, under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel
May help set up operating room, prepare and transport patients for surgery, adjust lights and equipment.
Pass instruments and other supplies to surgeons and surgeon’s assistants
Hold retractors, cut sutures, and help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments.

H.S. Graduate from an accredited school is required
Graduation from a Surgical Technician program is required
Experience & Skills:
Minimum one year experience as Surgical Tech in a hospital setting is a requirement
Orthopedic and ortho-spine experience highly preferred
BLS through AHA
Certified Surgical Tech is a requirement
