Job Summary:  Performs interventional procedures utilizing special radiographic and ancillary equipment and requiring  knowledge of emergency procedures and sterile techniques.  Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician.  Recognizes signs of contrast reaction and responds appropriately with appropriate action.  Assists the Interventioal Radiologist with procedures and monitors vital signs.


  • Required: Florida Licensed Radiologic Technologist/ARRT-R or Graduate of RCIS or RCES program;
  • Required: Participates in on-call rotation
  • Preferred: Holds certification in RCIS, RCES or ARRT CV, CI or VI plus >2 years experience;
  • Preferred: Able to scrub assist in multiple specialty areas (CCL, EP, IVR, Interventional Neuro-Radiology)  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  •  Graduate of an AMA approved RCIS, RCES or Diagnostic Radiology program;
  •  Complete basic dysrhythmia recognition test
  • BLS Certification
